About Me

Have you ever sacrificed a vacation due to the cost and worry of boarding your precious pets? Have you needed to rely on friends, family, or neighbors to drop by and care for your babies and then wonder if they would remember?

I’ve been where you are. Experiencing the stress and worry about the care of my babies while away from them. It is very emotional, and it opened my eyes to the plight of other animal owners in similar situations. I decided I could do something to help.

I have worked for a large utility company for over 20 years now. Come Sit Stay LLC was a long-time dream that became a reality after a few changes in my life. I describe myself as a down-home, caring, animal lover that loves taking pictures. My passions are animals and children where I donate time and funds to many deserving organizations. (Including but not limited “Portland Dog Obedience Club”, “DoveLewis Emergency Animal Hospital”, “Oregon Humane Society”, “Junior Achievement of Oregon and SW Washington” and “Morrison Child & Family Service”)

The number of dogs I board is limited so I can provide each fur-baby the loving care and attention they need. I’m licensed in Beaverton, Oregon and offer affordable home-style dog boarding services to help you while traveling without your four-legged friends. I believe in an “open couch”, “open lap” policy but will work with your boundaries.

I’ve learned the following from many years of pet sitting:

• Each pet is unique, adaptable, forgiving and offer unlimited love.

• You may temporarily be sad and stressed about leaving. Your pet may feel this stress too. Each pet is different, but most pets will start having fun exploring a new environment, playing with my two babies, running around my secure fenced yard, and playing with numerous toys within the first hour.

Tami is amazing! She has watched my dog’s multiple times, and I wouldn’t trust anyone else. Her home is comfortable and very welcoming with a large yard. My dogs are my children, so I’m extremely picky when it comes to boarding. She welcomed them in as if they were her own. They didn’t want to leave when the time came. I am so happy a friend recommended Come Sit Stay. My little fellow, Chu’ee (aka Chewbacca) is a spirited Brusells Griffon. I have never left him with anyone. Tami was available to us early on for a pre-visit. Her home is perfectly set up for dog boarding, inside and out. She has extra crates, toys, etc. She worked well with our energetic dog, did a little training with her too! She sent pics and a video and texted updates! Our Jones is a good dog w/issues. Tami was able to recognize and remedy his behavior. You have to watch him around other dogs. Tami was not giving up. From step one, Tami was so friendly, easy to work with, and yet focused on the most important customer—our 11-yr-old furry friend Madden!
